NYB Code of Conduct

Nordonia Youth Basketball reserves the right to remove any player, parent, coach, or spectators from league events and / or removal from the league for inappropriate behavior, poor sportsmanship, and / or attendance of games and / or practices as defined in the NYB League Rules.

Fighting, threatening language, swearing, excessive criticism of referees, and other unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated from players, coaches, parents, or spectators.  Poor behavior may result in a warning, a technical foul, removal from a game, and / or removal from the league without refund.

Any coach, player, or spectator who is ejected from a game may not attend at a minimum the team's next two scheduled games.  It is at the NYB discretion to enforce additional suspension up to including removal from league if deemed appropriate.

NYB Policy Note:
  • It is impossible for the NYB to police all the people who attend games and practices.  NYB expects that everyone help ensure proper decorum at NYB events.  The NYB WILL NOT devote resources to investigate incidents.  The NYB WILL NOT provide a "fair trial" for any person that has developed a reputation of misconduct.  It is simply MORE effective and efficient to sever the relationship with NYB without refund.
